You'll not find much organization here,
but that's just me and I've given up fighting it.

I am by no means a professional photographer but like to pretend and share things I'm proud of creating and enjoy looking at.

Here are some of my favorite personal photos.
Special effects and frames learned around the web,
applied by Paintshop Pro 7.
I'll put links to the tutorials where I used them and can remember them.

The "©by Heather" watermark
means photo taken by me.

The "chikkibird.com" watermark means photo not by me,
but my personal property and I've PSP'd it!

Got a new camera!
WooHoo!!

I've been slaving over over a second Cat Page
but this one can't wait.
PeeWee the brush rat, lol.

A shot of Seattle from the ferry.
By me.
My first creation that finally made me feel like a PSP Artist ;)

(The tutorial for the PERFECT
frame was finally found HERE)

A snapshot on the way to work one day.
I hate snow, it's good for nothing but photos.
Paintshop Pro effect is the Virtual Painter.
Frame idea by me.

A shot not taken by me.
Another Virtual Painter effect, and I've put so many different frames on this one. ..
I'll just say I think this one looks best for now.

(Above frame idea by me:)

Here are my dear cats Snootie and Chuffus,
both with me about 18 years but no longer.

I have many many loving memories and photo's of these two.
Original photo was black and white...basic effect again the Paintshop Pro Virtual Painter.

(The purrfect frame effect finally found HERE )

My favorite painting
I feel so lucky to have ended up with
and now have hanging on my wall.
By an artist I know personally, my dad Ron Richardson.
He's gone now but before he died he'd taken up painting again.
Some day I'd like to make a page of just his paintings. I admire his talent. The man could paint anything from abstract to landscapes to humans. I seem to have inherited only a blip
of his talent for the abstract, lol.

Another one by my dad.
This one's hanging in my bedroom.
Finally got a decent photo of it and have been spending the last two days in search of the perfect frame.
I guess he has signed very few of his paintings,
these two included so I signed them for him.

Here's a sample of my tree obsession.
(And a sample of my frame obsession...
...I lost track of how many frames this one's had ages ago ;)

Uh oh, another tree...

(The tutorial for this frame can be found HERE)

Well, this is it for now.
